    lsx intake

my question is should i get the lsx intake over the ls6, i have a 2000 camaro.

the lsx comes in either 90mm or 78mm throttle body what is stock 78? Does the bigger throttle body offer gains

if i do get the 90mm will i have to do big computer or injector mods also, would a sinple hand held diablo tuner be sufficient,

also on my exhaust i do want to go with headers and catback, but don't have the money yet, can i at least take off the cats and see a little gain for now, i know the o2 code will pop up but if the car still runs normal i will delete later when i get the programmer later

I wouldn't waste your money on an LSX 90 if your not getting a BIG cam to go along with headers, ORY, and higher flowing heads. If the LS6 is cheaper than LSX 78 then I'd go with that. LS6 intake is actually plenty good.

unless you plan on getting more cubes or adding a huge cam, the lsx is a waste of money.

I'd get the headers and catback first....and then the manifold (LS6 and a ported TB). If you remove the cats you can put sims in so there's no DTC......sims are cheaper then a tune.

There's ways to save a lot of money...and like the others stated, not getting a LSX and a 90mm TB are one of them. Later on if you put in a big cam or a blower then you can always sell the LS6 manifold....that thing will go like hotcakes on here.
