Ok,

I know that you put an LS6 manifold on a LS1 car. I have a buddy who has an LS6 manifold he is trying to sell but wants to sell the attached MAF. I know SLP's MAF for the LS1 flows at 90mm while the LS6 is 100mm (with the screens off more around 1000mm i believe) He is giving me a great deal on it if I want it, but I do not know if an LS6 MAF would be a direct replacement for the stock LS1 MAF.

Also besides the air flow, why would you want to remove the screen on the MAF ... or would you?
