    LS6-intake swap.

    got a killer deal on this LS6 intake from my friend, now do i have to have the computer re-set after the install (thats what i was told)?

    No, just have to turn off the EGR codes and block off the passenger side exhaust connection if it hasn't already been done.

    no you dont...you can bolt it up ..but like ssmaro said..you will have a ses/svs light due to your egr being "eliminated" now if you can live with this you dont need a "pcm adjustment" but if you dont want the light then yes you can go get someone with a tuner..or even better get a mail order tune from frost and only have the egr code deleted ect.

    thats what i thought, i knew the egr was gone but the computer thing got me, thanks guys.

    All I want more for my car, especially with these gas prices and my car being a dailey driver, is that intake and a tune. Hey, I'll give you $150 for it, how about that for a quick 50% return on your money, I would even pay for shipping

    I have already hit the 12s @ 109.9, an intake and a tune would give me a few more MPH.

    good return but ive been waiting for a ls6 intake for some time.

    i know i checked e-bay, this has like 30 miles on it so ,new to me. couldnt say no even if i turned around and sold it for 2 hundred it still a deal
