    Arrow ls6 intake?

Ive been looking everywhere to find out the difference in a ls6 intake part #12561184 and the zo6 ls6 #12573572 and have had no luck. Ive been reading that the 12573572 intake is found on the zo6 vetts, but why would I have this intake in my 02' ws6? I know they are both ls6 intakes but why is there a different part#? What are the differences between the two? thanks

Well I believe they are the exact same castings ...however one is ported and polished to different specs....just like the 243 head castings....same on many trucks/cars...but various port specs.....

The castings are different on the undersides. One is smoother and the other is ribbed. The LS6 flows a little better than the LS1. '01 and '02 LS1s had the LS6 intakes from the factory, and lost the EGR.

i have the Z06 style Ls6 intake, and I was wondering because someone told me it doesn't flow as good as the Ls6 intake that they put in the 01-02 F-bodies. How can this be? To me it would make sense that it would be the opposite since the intake was designed and placed on Ls1 engines before the Ls6 engine, etc. therefore they could have improved on the design and that explains the difference in part numbers.

he tested an ls2 intake, now how does that manifold differ from an ls1 intake, or is it the same thing just on a ls2 engine

The LS2 is another intake tested, like the LS6 intake. The LS2, LS1, and LS6 intakes are interchangeable.
