    1999 Camaro Z28

    LS6 or FAST intake?

    I have a 99 z28 and it had egr but i put on pacesetter offroad long tubes and I cant descide what to go with for an intake FAST or LS6. But im leaning towards the LS6 because of the cash difference. any other imputs??

    Fast and LS6 would benefit you about the same with bolt on mods. Its when you have heads/cam that you really see significant gains with the FAST versus the LS6.

    exactly what Y2K said, if you plan to go heads and cam def. get the fast90/90. if you plan to stay bolt on just get the ls6. if i remember correctly it is good to at least 500 rwhp

    agrreed, i do have a ls6 intake and a 80mm tb for sale.

    What this guy said. If your planning on heavy mods, do the FAST.

    speaking from personal experience, do all your other mods and save the money you would drop for an Ls6 intake and P&P TB and for a FAST90...

    basically have 2 stashes for mods, one to cover the basics (LT's, Cam, U/D Pulley, Heads, Suspension), and then a 2nd for the FAST 90/90 or FAST 92/92...

    believe it or not, you can find some great deals on new/lightly used FAST90/90 sets-ups. just do some looking first...
