LS3/LSX intake manifold question...

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum here, hopefully i'm posting this in the right place.

I'm in the process of building (planning) a 427 LSX that will be fitted with a kenne bell supercharger. The supercharger unit's intake manifold is designed to fit an LS3 with stock LS3 heads (stock C6 corvette configuration).

If I fit my LSX block with a set of the LS3/LSX 6 bolt heads, should the manifold and mount right up? In other words, is there really any external block difference in that area between the aluminum LS3 block and the iron LSX block?

If you are talking about the LSX bowtie block then yes you should be able to bolt ls3 heads on the block. They will also mount up to the manifold if the manifold is the ls3 style.

On the outside, the blocks are all the same...the heads are what defines what intake you can use. If the supercharger is for LS3/L92 heads, use those syle heads.
