    ls1 fuel rail hookup

I am installing an 02 LS1 into a 65 GTO and I am running an-6 stainless fuel line to the fuel rail. I have bought the connector that goes from the an-6 hose end to the rail but it seems I am missing some kind of internal clip to secure this to the rail. Any techs here that can give me a part #, or a close up picture of the fitting removed so I can see what it looks like exactly. thanks

It should have the plastic tabs on the inside....a little bit of oil helps and just push real hard and it will "click" Make sure you have the 3/8" and not the 5/16" end....

No thats what I am missing- the little plastic tab that clicks in, to lock it in place, if I look inside the connector there is a space for a plastic tab(empty) and further down 2 o-rings

Any hot rod shop should have them, but I used a "Russell" 640850..3/8" pressure side fitting.

No real performance mods yet I am still building the car, I had Wait4MePerfomance do the wire harness and the initial ecu program, because of some of the systems elimitated in adapting this motor to a 65 vehicle. i will probably drive it for a year or so before I will start with engine mods. I should be ok for a bit since this motor drove a car that weighed about 1000 lbs more than the GTO. We'll see though
