LS1 Entry Mods

I am looking for advice - I would like to put a CAI, aftermarket throttle body, MAF, and possibly a new intake on my 99 Vette. All suggestions are welcomed.

Leave the MAF alone.

I would say get a LS6 intake, port your throttle body or buy a preported one, CAI ( the cheapy one ebay works pretty good, tuneup, axle back exhaust (Mostly for sound and looks, you wont gain much power but the ebay one works and looks pretty good). After you do that if you want more then a set of long tubes will help out( again the one on ebay fit really well and it comes with the off road x-pipe), and last but not least a tune (whether it be mail-order PM frost for this, or you could get a dyno tune).

Yeah, like Y2KPewter said, I've heard only bad things from buying new MAF sensors. The most that you should do to them, "FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD", is descreen them....

By no means should you quote me on this and you probably will do your own research...

As far as CAI, my buddy put on the simple K&N FIPK Air Intake Kit and he said that he can feel a difference.

I Personally say he is full of shit, because it is just CAI, but then again I have been wrong before...
