Lpparts headers!
Hey does anyone know if the 98-02 ls1 lpparts headers have egr and air fittings?

from what I have seen of them they do not have fittings, they are race style headers.

No they do not, they are race style. Just installed them on a buddies car about a month ago and they are very nice headers and y/pipe. Everything fit nice and they sound very good. I personally went with cheapo ebay headers, but for $600 with a y pipe you cant beat it.

thats my plan, no egr and no air, just can't decide between a set of LPP or a set of Kooks.

Probably going with kooks, got a great price from mark at kyspeed and I plan on keeping the car for a long time so I might as well spend my tax return wisely.

If I went with LPP's I would save about $300 over the kooks, more $$$ = more parts.

You're right on the no egr. I wasn't paying attention to your year model, my apologies. As far as air, I'm not sure about 01-02's, but if you've got a hose running out from the right side of your intake down under the right headlight assembly, you have air. And it is useless, and can be taken off with no pains.

Pewter Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 D1SC
Yeah, just pull the hoses out and plug em up. The Headers dont have any fittings so they look much cleaner. Pull your air pump fuse and have everything tuned out at some point after.
I have the LPP headers and Y and they were pretty easy to install for the most part and they fit is pretty nice. I would definitely recoment them. Where else you gonna find a 3" stainless Y pipe?
