97formula, since you have an LT1, then your car wouldn't sound as bad with LM like the LS1 guys who complain. I have headers, no cats and loudmouth. Look at this vid in my sig and tell me how you think it sounds. LT1/SBC sounds the same.

the loud mt system is just bent pipe and a resonator you can just buy the resonator and have a shop bend the pipe and save over a 100 dollars and buy other parts seperate

I think the Loudmouth is gonna sound like a neutered hotrod. But that's me... and a few others on here.

By the way, it's good to see somebody else from around my neck of the woods, 97formula.

They sound real good on a stock car but inside is where it sucks. I loved my Loudmouth to death but it's not worth the noise. With a M6 under any type of load in a high gear it droans in the interior, and forget about towing as soon as you come to a hill you want o kill yourself. Plus I've heard that when you go to headers with a Loudmouth the result, Not cool. I'm by no means sissy and I'm not old but the Loudmouth is exactly that, LOUD. For now the stock exhaust is back on my Z until I decide what bullet muffler to use to replace the resonator. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
i have the loadmouth and hooker full lenth headers 1 3/4 the sounds like shit untill its over 3500 rpms

I put the Loud Mouth in my 01 Z28 (Fairly Stock) and yes it was loud and raspy at first, but after some miles I "think" the black "carbon" build-up in the pipes has really quieted down and taken away the "raspiness". But, for complements Loud Mouth is the way to go. People alway ask me what headers I have. Answer: None. Up-shift when the cops are around.

Magnaflow with LT headers sound great, if you run a offroad Y with the Magnaflow it gets really really loud, so loud it is almost like a open exhaust. I couldn't even imagine how loud it would be with a loudmouth. I was getting people complaining 5 blocks away with the Magnflow and FLP LTs with offroad Y.

I always suggest Magnaflow...much better than the chokemaster. Loud mouth is just too loud for me and as kelly said, its not a good loud.

Your car sounds great, even with dual Magnaflows rather than a single crossflow type. I was also thinking that flow nubers on a Flowmaster(Flowdisaster) were horrible, barely better than stock when using Series 80 crossflow style. -Tim

    Good catback...just expensive.

    I still say Magnaflow.
