I must say im impressed with how easy my LM was to install. It took me longer to cut the stocker off then it did to install the LM. I expected it to take longer being i was doing it in the driveway but DAMN it didnt!

And the quality is top notch! I give SLP a they did a good job on my Catback and Lid. But i wont be buying anything else from them lol Their prices are wack for most of their stuff.

good to hear that you are pleased. i know that system isnt for everyone, but glad to know you're ha[[y w/it. what other mods have you done?

i remember when i put my LM on w/the manifolds and it sounded great. now that I have LT's/ORY, i love it even more now, cause i make old ladies cry, little kids bleed from the ears, and make yuppie SAAB drivers toss their cell phones out of the car (window was down) when i blip the throttle to get their attention to move out of the left lane. i scared the shit out of that guy...

    Right now im running:
    Lid
Cold Air Ductin with custom Scoop
    Fernco Coupler
    Ported throttle Body
    Thottle body bypass
    LM1
    DiabloSport Predator Perfroamnce tune
160 thermostat(causing me issues right now)

My next mod will LTs and ORY. I spent a while listening to sound clips and decided i really like the sound, and i figure if its too loud i can just swap a muffler in since my LM is modular

i had a loudmouth 1 on my stock setup with manifolds and cats and it sounded great. i put lt's ory and cam in. sounded like a dump truck on steroids. worst sounding thing ever. it stayed on the car 2 days before I sold it.

some people say that when you go to LT's and the SLP LM that it becomes way too loud and raspy, and are scared that they will get noise tickets or that it's too loud for them personally...

if you click on the links in my sig (post #5) you will get an idea of how loud LT's/ORY w/ the SLP LM can get...

I had the LM with MAC mids and a custom catted Y and it sounded great! Went to Hooker LTs and ORY and it sounded like ass. Tried a DynoMax bullet...worthless. Put a Borla XR-1 in there...heaven.

How in hell did you get it to fit?? Mine looked like it would hit the floorboard and driveshaft. I had the 5" one and just sold it.

I'm just suprised you can deal with the sound. The exterior sound, and interior resonance, almost drove me crazy. Off went the LM, on went Corsa RSC.

one thing i noticed was my LM was really close to the floor and driveshaft until i lowered the car back onto the ground, then i have a good amount of room Did you have the suspension hanging when you looked at it?

no it was on a lift that you drove on. That sucks cause I really wanted a Borla mouth. The LM is just arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhh! was told by other people it would work also. My system is welded so I couldnt even try it without cutting the lm bullet off but it didnt look like it was gonna work.

I had my LM kit with Mac mids and ory pipe with my cam it sounded great idling and cruising down the highway, but the rasp between 2-3k rpm killed me. Like said above sounded like a pulp wood truck. If it wasn't for that I would have been in heaven. I was going to put a Borla XR1 in there but I sold it before I had the chance.

Honestly, it was no problem and fit easily. The whole job of cutting out the DynoMax and welding in the Borla XR-1 took under 30 minutes...

I know this isn't the best picture to view it, but the Borla fits up there very nice and doesn't bump/rub anything...
