    Lost Spark Plug

I was changing the spark plugs on the driver side of my '02 TA. I dropped a new one while i was trying to screw it in by hand. Its sitting somewhere above the engine mount. I cant see it or figure out how to get to it. Does anybody have a good way of getting it.

Usually a telescoping magnet works well for retrieval. Check it carefully to make sure you did not crack the insulation and definitely re-gap it. If you still can't find it, put the front end up in the air and try looking from underneath the car.

Thanks I have tried jacking it up and trying to get to it from underneath. I still can't see it and its way to tight fo me to fit my hand in there.

Maybe try using a mirror or something. You might atleast be able to see where it is. I dropped a bolt while doing headers and used a mirror and a magnet to get it.

I dropped a bolt when I was doing my headers and wondered if there was some sort of black hole in the frame that sucked it into another dimension- I like to have never found it! Get a telescoping magnet and just start poking around- that's what I did and it eventually fell out.

I was doing a heads install on a GTO this weekend and dropped a plug as well. I found it in the middle of were all the headers enter the collector at.

    FUN, FUN to get
