Noticable power increase too. Since we have a similar setup I'll post up dyno #s next week after I get the tune.

I also got some white smoke after starting it up, and a bad smell from the exhaust. I think it is residue from WD-40, shipping materials, etc. The smoke cleared up after 30 min driving.
I would like to see what kind Of numbers you put down. 14 hours.. ouch. I guess it helps when you have a lift. It took me 4.5 hours. Props to you for doing it without a lift. I don't see how I've could have done it without one.

I go for the dyno/tune on Thursday, so I'll post results. A lift is nice. I was inexperienced, so could probably do it a lot faster next time.

Am I only the SECOND one to do a pre install like this?

I also put my lips to the headers and do the
    Vroom-Vroom rata tata also!

    Hey SS Power

Numbers were RWHP 344 RWTQ 361 after the tune. You are probably in the same ballpark since we have similar setups. Unless you are about to do more mods, I really recommend a dyno tune if you have a shop nearby that does them.

I stopped by the Chevy dealership to pick up those header gaskets and the clown there said that we didn't have gaskets on our cars, it was metal to metal. I'm like this guy is an idiot. So I went down the street to another dealership and picked them up there....haha
