getting ready to do some mods just wonderin if i put on lts do i have to go true duals or can i go with an ory and a cat back thanks for any info guys

You can use a Y pipe with the lt headers. I used the TSP Y and added cutouts on each side.

you dont have to go true duals alot of people go with a offroad y pipe and a catback with them

when you get order the headers it should have a link to what y pipe you will need. the stock replacements wont fit.

thanks man was going to do ory first then headers a little later dont wanna buy an ory then have to buy a new one a couple months later waste of time and money

no problem. the replacement ory will probly work with shorty headers but who wants to waste money on those.

i will go long tubes. i have lt with x pipe true duals dumped. great air flow sounds great. but ya the y pipe with cut outs good idea too.

do you have cats? where did you have your cut outs installed ? right after the collector befor the cats and y pipe or did you have them cut into the y?

I deleted the cats & used the rear o2 simulators. The cutouts are cut into the Y pipe about 10" after the collectors. After I got the Y set where I wanted it, I welded all the connections and got rid of all the exhaust clamps.
