    Lingenfelter Intake

    Has anyone ever tryed this intake before. what kind of powershould i get compared to stock ls1 intake and ls6 intake?

    IMO, if you want an Aluminum intake look at the BBK SSI intake it uses factory intake gasket seals, and has a 85mm throttle body opening, and you can get one new for $400.
    the BBK will give you about 5hp over a LS6 intake (w/85mmTB) the Lingenfelter/ Weiand intake has a factory sized throttle body opening (78mm) and give about the same hp gain as the LS6 intake, and cost more then the BBK. If you get the Lingenfelter intake have the throttle body opening opened up to at least 85mm, but if possible 90mm, to maximize it's upgrade potential .

    See I wanted to go with bbk but this one i'm looking at is only 300 and has a 80mm opening I think it comes with every thing I need.

    Doubt you'll see a anydifference over a LS6 intake. I know people who run cam cars and a LS6. Usually if you do a head/cam car you'd probably want a 85mm or bigger intake like a Fast.
