Lid Question

I picked up a used SLP lid from a local guy today. He has a '98 and mine is a '00, and I just noticed on SLP's website that they sell the 98/99's together and the 00-02's together. Will it still be compatible or is it just some emissions related stuff. I'm putting LT's, LS6 manifold and catless y-pipe so I'm ditching all the emissions related stuff anyways.

Guess you could drill a hole in box and make it work, don't know if needed or what it does for sure, where does the tube go to from factory lid?? I might can be deleted but not sure.

I never really noticed where the tube goes. Hopefully it can still work.

The lid is basicly the same, but there is a different hose hookup on the 00-02s. SLP send the connecting hoses/grommets with the kit new ($95). You can drill & add it, you'll just have to get some hose and a fitting to connect it.

If you are deleting all of that stuff then you will be fine. The lid should have came with a cap that covers the hole on the drivers side of the lid. I have the AIR house coming out of that hole on my 2000 because I still have the emissions crap.
