Don't forget American Racing Headers.....made by ex-kook employees, very high quality, and slightly cheaper.

They are excellent headers. I sell lots of these for classic muscle where stainless is not an option. But I would recommend going with a stainless header.

QTP's are one of the best flowing, but yes, they do require some mods to make them fit right and get the best clearance out of them.

Exhaust isn't always a simple bolt on..

right, but why go through the hassle when kooks or ARH are just as good?

    Cause it creates less rasp.

Come on man, you are going to tell me that among those three long tubes alone QTP has less rasp? When it comes to these tuned headers the amount of rasp lies in how the Y merges and what type of muffler (i.e. LM).

I have stainless works headers. No cutting, no bending required.

It does not matter. Their are too many variables other than the headers themselves to base an opinion.

Kooks will require a grinder for the K member. If you get QTP headers get the high velocity merge collector , it has shown gains of 8 rwhp and 6 rwtq. With a 26 rwtq gain in the mid range over Pacesetters
