Knock sensor code and spark plugs....

When i bought my car 18 months ago, the check engine light was on, p0332, the guy said it comes on once in awhile and goes off...he had a spare sensor in the glove box. but when i bought the car, it stayed on pretty much constant

A few months later i put on the headers and exhaust, so now i had like 13 codes with all the emissions stuff, finally got those tuned out, but on the first drive out, p0332 came back.

Finally swapped out my LS1 intake for an LS6, and swapped out both sensors AND the harness. no code for two or 3 weeks, then it came back, on and off randomly, that was 2 months ago

Car started feeling funny, like it was misfiring, but still just the p0332 code. so I swapped out plugs, and btw the TR55s made my car feel brand new..

But the weird part is that the knock sensor code went away as soon as i changed plugs.....any ideas?

    What fuel are you using?

Did you change the plug wires at the same time?

    Also this may help:
OBD-II Trouble Code: P0332 Knock Sensor Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)

    Also one more thing.

When I did my LS6 intake swap my KS wire harness got pinched between the intake and the cylinder head. It last about one week before it fired the wire harness.

I had your exact same situation. I replaced plugs and knock sensor and full wire to sensor to computer. Still a missfire and knock code. Turned out to be my fuel regulator tht was bad and fouled my plugs and threw sensor off.

Yes, if your plugs were fouled out which causes a missfire is throws the timing off. When timing is thrown off it throws knock code.

Knock code sensos vibrations and if it sensos vibrations (missfiring) it retards the the timing causing a knock code. You should be fine now if you have no more codes.

Under the intake under the valley cover. You can get to them by just popping the black caps off that cover them. You do not actually have to remove the valley tray.
