Knock Sensor ?

Are there different knock sensors for the LS1, LS2, LS6 etc. If so is it better to put an LS6 knock sensor in an LS1??? Need to know I'm changing mine and don't want to F around. I want the best for the car and I'm more than likely swapping my intake for a LS6 or a FAST 90/90 at the same time.

Havin spark knock problems eh??? I was too, replaced the knock sensors, and then it kicked an air pump code. But anyway I have an 01 so I think your emissions plumbing might be different, and I believe you have to replace (or plug) it when converting to an LS6 intake beacause there is less room underneath them. I think they go over it on Ls1howto.com also. But I don't think the sensors are different (someone correct me if I'm wrong) because not much is different between the ls1 and ls6 anyway. And be careful pulling off the plastic connectors on the wiring harness...they break VERY easily hint hint lol. And be careful not to break off your oil pressure sending unit while you're back there. Shitty when it happens late on sunday when no auto parts stores are open! Definately do some kind of Intake upgrade while you're already into it as well.
