JVT Headers
I can pick up some JVT headers for 260.00 OTD, i can avoid tax and shipping as well and its about 10 bucks less then what there selling it for. I dont know if it comes with a Ypipe or not but i guess my next step would be Ypipe, stage 8 bolts and brand new OEM headers gaskets with NGK TR6 plugs since im gonna run nitrous in the future. Ofcourse forgot that i have to send my computer to Frost for a retune on the headers. Damn this add's up, lol. So basically LT headers 260.00, ORY 125.00, Stage 8 bolts about 50.00, OEM gaskets not sure but lets say 50.00 and spark plugs about 30.00. So its gonna run me about 515.00 for parts and i think about 300 for labor to install. Hopefully with all this i can get up to about 355 RWHP, if not its gonna suck, lol. Is there alot of good responses on JVT headers ? ive seen it mentioned here a couple of times but not sure on there fitment.

FYI, the JVT headers are the same ones that sale for $190 shipped, so you could save a little money there. On to the headers, you will need to modify a few things before they will fit but if you have the tools and skills they are easily installed. When I installed a set the passenger side slipped right in, but on the drivers side I had to grind the tab on the block(had to do the same to install pacesetters), had to grind the lip on the k-member, and had to pie cut the collector and pull it down then reweld cause it was pointing up a little too much. I also cut off the emissions fittings and welded them up.

The BBK's are starting to look better and better the more i research into headers. For the money and what you get for its really a good deal, i myself havent heard much about them as far as fitment. I dont know which is better Chrome or ceramic finish since they come in other of the 2 you can pick from. Ive looked at JVT headers and the best i got for them is 260 pick up, not bad but no idea what ORY would go with those and how there fitment is since most people have trouble on the drivers side and its a pain. I can save a good amount buying SS headers off ebay for even 190 shipped and then ORY i dont know but i think SLP for 129.00 and that would be 319.00 + shipping all said and done would probably run me 350-360 mainly because the ory i would have to purchase online and pay shipping. Id rather pay a bit extra and go with BBK's but haven heard much about them.
