Just installed new throttle Body,idle issue
Just installed a p/p throttle body, when i went to fire the car up it was idling at like 2300, turned it off then started it back up... Idles a little lower @ 1600, whats going on? the tps and idle air control valve only go in one way so how could i have f'd that up??

check all the sensors for oil/dirt
check your intake gasket, mine was all tore back when i replaced my tb
if it still does it, take off your tb, and hold it up to a light and see if you can see any light around the blade itself. if you can, it was over ported.

Did you check the idle screw ? Might be open to far.

I actually just adjusted the line and it idles normal now. BUT I notice a "click" in the pedal just before the gas pedal hits. It's annoyingmore thananything else

If you have the idle screw closed to far, the throttle plate can stick a little. You can feel it right at the TB.
