Jet-Hot Long-Tube Headers over other brands?
Right now I'm looking at a set of these headers "01-02 LS1 Jet-Hot Long-Tube Headers (w/Emissions)" What do you guys think of these over other brands. I'm also thinking of going with there catted y pipe if I get these headers. Are these pretty nice in terms of fit, ground clearence ect. Was also thinking of pacesetter with jet-hot coating.

I run the Jet Hot's with the catted-Y. Good header. The Y-hangs down a bit. I have scraped it a few times. But I am lowered a bit.
If you want to save a few bucks, the Pacesetter is also good.Black 1999 Blown Convertible A4

Hey ED BLOWN VERT How low are you saying they hang. I have strano springs on koni's. Are they like a regular header, do they tuck really well but just the Y.
And to get the pacesetters factory with the jethot coating they are actually $20 more then the jethot. The painted one are cheeper but not really interested. Thought the coatig will help in underhood temp, power, longevity. well I guess the stuff they say on THERE advertisment not sure what people found out them selfs.
Do alot of people BUY the PAINTED PACESETTERS?

I have no rust. The headers tuck nice. I don't recall ever scraping them.
I think the coating is worth it.

My friend has Jet Hots and they're rusty as shit. If you're gonna get a non stainless coated header I'd go Pacesetter or something in that price range cause they're gonna rust anyway.

The Ypipe is a pain to put on because you use the hooker headers two piece ypipe. Lil tricky to work with but doable.
