    Pontiac G8 GT & 99 Z28 6M

    Intakes ?

    I've heard that all the 00-02 ls1 engines received the ls6 intakes.
    Prices seem to be about 400 currently.
    I ve noticed that BBK has an intake for about 550.

    Any others? Fast is way too much for me.

    Anybody tried the BBK?
    Should I scrounge the bone yards for an 00-02 manifold.

    Just searched.. Wow everybody hates that BBK. Let's scrap that idea.

    Yeah BBK is a heat sink. Most go with the fast or the msd intakes but will cost you. So if price is the concern go with a ls6 intake. You can usually find a few online used. Easiest way is probably just googling them. But if you plan on doing a lot just save up till you can afford one of the other 2 if your going to stay bolt on with maybe a small cam and heads the ls6 should be just fine
    Mods - Lid, Skip Shift Eliminator, MGW shifter, UMI SFCs, Founders Lower Control Arms, Founders Panhard Bar, Founders Adj. Torque Arm, UMI Torque arm mount, MWC Drive shaft safety loop, KONI Yellows, Strano Springs, Strano Sway bars, UMI Upper and lower A Arms, 160 thermostat, TSP headers and TSP true duals Monster stage 2 clutch, racetronix fuel pump, Strange S60 rear axle and tune by Frost.

    What are your plans with the car? Unless you are going big, no sense in investing in a FAST or similar aftermarket intake. I am still running the stock LS6 intake on our car and am quite happy with the power it puts down.
