Okay....LSX is outta the question, for now. Believe me, I want that.
I already have an LS6 intake, which would sell for $300+
I can get an LS2 intake for $200. But that would require a different TB wouldn't it?

Well....my motor is outta the car.
It is getting a 402ci. Iron block.
Large cam, Patriot stage 2 LS6 heads. (not quite what I wanted on the heads, but I got a killer deal)
Not huge compression, as I have later plans.

I suppose I could. I plan on going with the LSX 90/90 in the future. It was originally in the plans, but some things changed job wise, so....
I will start a new thread in the Internal Section about my project. I still have a couple questions, and Patriot has offered to mill the heads for free if I would like. But I would have to PM him tonight if I want that done. Question is....piston to valve

Are you working with Gunner at Patriot? Y'all can work the clearance etc. issues out between your cam/heads/pistons...maximize flow etc.....just a thought....have you looked into a Shaner Throttle Body? Some damn fine results come from him.....while your engine is out...mebbe you can send him your stocker...have him work his magic on it and you'd swear you already got your 90/90 Mebbe $125 tops....really makes a difference man.....

My throttle body is a stocker, but it is ported/polished.
I have talked to TSP, who I got the motor from about the clearance, and they said I could mill the heads up to .050.
Gunnar didn't think that was such a good idea.
Cam is a 248/254 629/622 113
Pistons are Mahle -12cc dish. Valve reliefs are decent sized. I was thinking a .020 mill.

I PM'd Gunnar and asked him to call me tomorrow. I would like his opinion on it over the phone, that way I have his full attention. I know a lot of people are in front of a computer are doing other things as well.
