    Intake interchangeability

Will the LS2/LS7 intake interchange on the LS1?

Are there any horsepower gains with the swap, if they are interchangeable?

    LS6 can, I am 99% sure the LS2 is not a direct bolt on to a LS1

LS2 will fit. Needs a larger throttle body or an adaptor for the LS1 throttle body.
I doubt the LS7 intake fits. Although I am sure someone has made it work.

    LS6 intake > LS2 intake on a stock cubed LS1.

LS2 intake is similar to the 90mm Fast intake correct.

yep, similar to the fast intake. to throw an ls2 intake on your ls1 you'll also need the coolant crossover pipe and plugs. I went ahead and changed my rails out at the same time and went to a fast 90 TB.

    FAST overperforms it though.

From what I understand, the LS6 intake outperforms the LS2 intake on a stock cubed LS1. Someone correct that if it is wrong.

from all that i've read, the LS2 underperformed the LS6 intake. the LS7 intake will require the LS7 heads due to the 11* design.

Good information, I really appreciate it. My only other dilema is finding one for a descent price. I'll be damned if I am going to pay $350 or $375 for a used intake. I think that is a Barrett - Jackson price, opening bid.
