Difference between LS1 intake and LS6 intake
-On the LS1 the bottom of the intake is not flat., but they have the X shaped bracing between the ports.
-On the LS6 manifold, it has a flatter bottom and 1 verticle w 2 horizontal ribs in the area between the ports.
-The STOCK LS6's also do not have EGR provisions, unless they are fabricated.

Copied from another thread Stock 2001-2002 F-body LS6 is 12561184.
The Z06 LS6 is 12573572.
The old LS1 intake with the EGR setup is 12560688.
97-00 vette LS1 part # is 12556333

It wont make any difference. It is still an LS1 intake. Upgrade to the LS6 and sell the LS1 intake on ebay. that's why i did and I got 100 bucks for my old
LS1 intake with the fuel rail. So at the end my brand new stock LS6 intake with new fuel rail cost me around 245 bucks.
