$$$ cheaper. And I don't want to take the chance with high-flow Cats during emission's tests. Had that trouble with high-flow cats in my truck in the past.

speaking of High-cats... I was going to install a Dynatech headers with high-flow cats system, but can't find anywhere that says if it's smog legal in Cali. It won't pass visual inspection.... but I have that taken care of... just have to pass that pipe and rod exhaust test...

As far as $650 for install, he would need to relocate the cats, which involves welding and custom y-pips to fit and I don't have the tools for that or want to take the chance of spending more $$ if I fuck something else.
If you are willing to drive to San Diego, one of the sponsors on here is MUCH cheaper than that - and just as experienced.

I'm looking at doing the same exact thing - Pacesetter LT's with cats - and the labor is half of what you listed. The dyno tune is also half of the price you quoted.

How much to install? And how much for the tune?

For the $650 that tune will cost you, you could purchase your own version of HPTuners Pro and do the tune yourself...

I would get a better tune with a professional tune than doing it myself with a HPTuner Pro. + it's lifetime for $650.

Depending on what brand you got.. and how rusty your exhaust is.. and what kind of tools you have.....

Done it 4 times now.. Pacesetters have been the best/easiest so far... prob took about 6 hours of actual work... Just make sure you have a good set of gear wrenches, extensions, and lots of PB Blaster.
