Inside the power steering reservior
Hello to all on the LS1 forum, I have only just registered on this site and hopefully be of help and also find answers to questions like the one below.
I am making a stainless power steering reservior and would like to know how the delivery and returning oil is seperated?
I would have thought with all the oil moving in and out of the pot it would have to be baffled inside, if anyone knows or has an old reservior, could you cut the top off and take some photo

looked down in mine, has a molded plastic tube in it that the bottom hose hooks to, goes in about 1/2 inch then 90* turn, goes about 1 inch then has about a 1/4 inch hole in the top of it that dumps into the center of the reservior
