I have a set of Siemens 38# injectors awaiting install. I heard that installing injectors that much bigger than my stockers is a bad idea because it will be dumping too much gas. I live about 60 miles from my local tuner and could install them in the parking lot the day I get it tuned but I'd rather do it at the house and drive it there if possible. So basically will it be alright to do it at home or just wait and do it in the parking lot?

Yeah, you'll pretty much flood the engine with bigger injectors like that on a stock tune. Because the computer will keep the same pulse width and rail pressure on the bigger injectors, therefore, dumping un-need fuel in the cylinders.

It won't run without the tune... I tried it with 30lb'ers, can't imagine how much fuel you will be dumping !!! It only takes 1/2 hour to change them. Good Luck !

Bring some oil along too, for the O-rings. So they slide right in !
