    Increasing my horsepower

I've got a 99 camaro ls1 and when spring time rolls around i'm putting on my new 20" chrome rims i recently got, but since they're heavier, i'm concerned about my acceleration loss since i'm going from 16" alloys. Right now, i don't have any performance parts on my car, and i'm looking into everything and was wondering what are some suggestions other than intake and exhaust. And for intake, should i go w/k&n cai or get the slp high induction kit? any suggestions are welcome w/the exception of the turbonator, tornado, etc., they're crap, lol

Just the lid would be sufficient. I did lose .2et on my quarter mile time just going from 16's to 18's and I can feel the difference when I go back to 16's for the track. With headers I gained .3et so with the wheels at the time I only gained .1et lolz. Get a cam( I know extremely vague).

you should sell those rims and get 17's in the front ad 18's in the front, get some suspension that will help more than a lid and exhaust, get some rocker arms, or an intake manifold, and if you got the $ i would get a cam set, also go with slp

rocker arms aren't worth the money to hp ratio, and work fine on many high hp motors.

    20" chromes?

I guess it's your ride, but I would go with some nice 17s or 18s.

There is this one camaro black thats in my area and has atleast 20's on it, everytime i look at it i start to laugh it just doesnt belong, not the first camaro with 20's ive seen that doesnt look right. Your braking is also going to go down the drain as well and i would really consider upgrading your brakes if you put on 20's. I always say when i see a camaro with 20's it reminds me of those cartoon pictures with a big head and small body. Do some 17's or 18's as said above, again its all preference to someone it may look nice and to others it doesnt.
