    If I get Headers w/NO emissions can I remove it?

    Was looking into pacesetter headers coated with a y pipe and wanted to know if i go with non-emissions header can I remove all the EGR /AIR hosing and piping in the engine compartment? i think it would look alot cleaner and make plugs changes much easier too. I'm not concerned with getting emissions tests done I just think it looks better not to have it at all instead of block off plates.

    Yes you can, and just about everyone does that. You will be throwing codes for the air/egr but it won't kill you.

    cool. Will it stil pass emissions if I have high flow cats ? I'm pretty sure the air is for faster cat light off at start and egr is just to reburn and reduce combusiton temps.

    Visual?? It will not pass if the inspector knows what they are looking for.

    Sniffer....it should if the motor is stock and you have hi-flow cats.
