I want to upgrade my TB, need input...

I have a 2002 WS6, since the LS6 manifold seems to be adequate for my HP needs right now, what throttlebody should I buy? Some people say to just port the stock one, but I dont wanna mess it up. I am leaning toward the Trick Flow TB, http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/98...ottlebody.aspx, but I have a few questions. Is this better than a stock ported TB? 80 or 85MM? Finally, will the 85 bolt up to my stock LS6 intake with no modification? Thanks for any input.

usually a throttle body that big on an intake like the ls6 would need a spacer in between to transition from that big an opening. Like you already said get yours ported. If you don't want to do it yourself you can either send it out, or check your classified to see if you can find a ported one.

Dont want to post a non sponsor link but there are several people who port them for a few bucks.

And if you still want the trick flow one, from the pic it seems to already come with the spacer

Well since I can't pm you(so no link for you) I can tell you shaner throttle bodies are good if you are looking for a reputable place with good reviews, just google the name they are about $125 plus $150 core charge until you send them your stocker.
