I think many will agree that, with the cutout closed, the chambered GMMG exhaust is one of the best sounding in the market. I have Flowmasters at the end of my setup, however I usually leave the e-cutout at least 30% open. If I could justify the additional cost just to get the car to sound better when my cutout was closed, I'd go with the GMMG.
I'm sure others will chime in, so here are some of my thoughts on the other popular catbacks --
Borla -- excellent quality although the kit is a bit pricey, gotta love the stainless steel, the mufflers produce a very deep tone -- in my opinion, the sound isn't as crisp as some.
Magnaflow -- another personal favorite -- good quality, nice sound, nice price
Hooker -- another quality kit, sounds pretty good and comes with an awesome price tag.
Corsa -- excellent quality but it comes with a price, the tone is pretty mild -- especially at idle, however they sound pretty good at WOT.2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

Another vote for Magnaflow.
I have LT's with Magnaflow duals on my car, they sound great.

Hooker for me is the best with the cut out open, nice and deep but not crazy loud. I dont know how its like with the cut out closed havent tried it yet. But with the cut out open it sounds awesome.
