I have Hooker headers and have been very pleased with the quality and fitment. That being said, they do hang pretty low, scrape on sharp grades and I have a stock ride height.

Pacsetters have great clearance but with your car basically slammed at 2.5" anything and everything will scrape.

I have Hookers and a 2+ inch drop via Eibach Sportlines. I only rub on serious speed-bumps and steep entry angles. For the car being pretty low, I think the clearance is pretty good...

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
I have Hooker long tubes and my headers with ORY fit higher than my stock exhaust did. I actually gained ground clearance, and the Super Comps are ceramic coated tuned lenth headers. After I put them on, no tune yet on my PCM, my car ran its' first 12 sec. 1/4. (12.992-13.32 last May 15th) And, 1/4 MPH is up by almost 2 (slowest was on the 12.992 run, 107.4 and the quickest MPH was on the slowest ET, 108.95). Also, the best bonus was my gas mileage went from 25.5-27.1 up to 27.5-28.4 driving 75-80 with AC on as needed!
Definitely get some long tubes..........oops, just saw you are in CA, good luck with emissions, there are no tests here.
