i have SLP loudmouth but it isnt what im looking for help

ok in the past i have had flowmasters 2.5'' with dual cats. Then it was the 3'' magnaflow now the 3.5'' SLP with the cats cut off. i want a deep mellow tone something that will roar around 3,000 rpm just rolling down the road the SLP are to rattley what would be a good exhaust

PS: stock mans.. K&N, stage 2 chip, no cats, 6 speed, 96Z28

Try welding a Borla XR-1 muffler in the I-pipe of your Loudmouth ("BorlaMouth"). Makes a BIG difference by eliminating rasp and drone. It is still hella loud, tho...my neighbors cringe when I fire her up.

Check out www.ls1sounds.com for clips of a variety of different setups. And get rid of that 'stage 2 chip'. Chips don't do shit for these cars.

Try the stainless Edelbrocks.....They have a nice mellow tone kind of like the old school hemi turbo mufflers.
If the customer wants something quite thats what we put on.
