I have a question about SLP muffler

    SLP Loudmouth 2 Mufflers

Quick question about these, should i buy one of them since I'm runnin a Y-pipe?? and should I have it welded between the y-pipe and axle back part of the exhaust because I have full exhaust its custom though. It goes slp LTs < slp y-pipe < stock mid pipe leading into a welded on stainless industries muffler. Also aren't these resonators and not mufflers??

The are resonators, not mufflers. I personally don't like welding the exhaust on because if you ever need to remove it for whatever reason it makes it very difficult to do so. I just have my entire exhaust set-up together with band clamps. No issues for me. I'm running a different set-up though. I do have the SLP LMII resonator though.

Yea me either but my y-pipe setup came from 2 different cars and the axle back was cut off of a trans am and so I had to weld it onto my exhaust. I might as well just buy a whole brand new SLP LM2 from the y-pipe back since I already have the slp y pipe.

LMII's sound good IMO i love loud though so i have true dual LM1's and if your headers are clamped onto your y-pipe then you can weld the front of the muffler if its in the center of the car and clamp the over axel pipe so you can just pop it apart if you ever need to
