I hit my thumb on my trucks fan blade once while messing with a timing light. It gave me that I just found out i lost a family member lump in my stomach. I didnt want to look down. Didnt even leave a mark tho. just knocked my dick stiff with fear.

What size hose do you need to get to do this?

I was stupid and ordered one of the throttle body bypass kits, with the barbed coupler in the middle, and there is no possible way to make it work, since the stock hoses are not long enough to reach without rubbing on the pulley below.

So I am starting over and doing it the way I should have to begin with, one solid piece of hose.

I read somewhere I should ask for 5/16" fuel line? Can anyone confirm this?

Do I have to ask for 5/16 "inside diameter" fuel line? Or do I just tell them to give me 5/16 fuel line?

yup just ask for 1 foot of 5/16" fuel line, you will only use maybe half of it. just throw the extra piece you cut off in the toolbox for a later project.....oh and buy 2 clamps too

Got it done this morning. Just used a single piece of 2 foot fuel line all the way from the rad to the other side, and two worm screw clamps, as well as 1 zip tie to make sure the hose stayed put.

5/16" inside diameter line worked good and it now has plenty of clearance.
