Hushpower II
Hey, anyone have any experience with the Flowmaster Hushpower II? I'm looking for a quiet setup and have the chance to get some. Summit says they're only good for up to 400hp... I have more than that
What are your opinions? Thanks, Steve.

Well, if they're only advertised for 400hp and you're running more, then don't do it. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

But I'm thinking if I have two (duals) then it might be ok... It doesn't say anything about a horse power rating on flowmasters web site. Why would they have a horse power rating? Flow maybe??

Yeah, how much max flow the mufflers can support.
Now if you're running duals and have one for each bank, then I think you'll be ok. I thought you were only going to run 1 with a Y instead of duals.

Well, it seems like no one is serious about the duals I'm selling so I might just sell the Spintechs and replace them with the hushpowers....

Yeah, I'd do 2.5'' after the x for clearance reasons...
