    -5 for the flowmaster!

I really hate to put a catted y on my car which hurts sound and performance, I think Im going to try bribe the guy that inspects it, or look for a hook up. Is there such thing as a fake cat which looks real but is striaght through?

I doubt you will gain much if any horsepower from the flowmaster system. If you decide to go flowmaster stay away from the 80 series they flow terrible. I've heard a couple ls1's with a 1 chamber flowmaster and they sound awesome with great flow. Im thinking about replacing my LM resonator with one.

For boltons cars total HP always depends on how strong it was before the mods. There are more "factory freaks" that dyno high in 02 than seemingly any other year. Boltons tuning (with stock MAF) usually gains 10-18rwhp on average. If you have an aftermarket MAF all bets are off the table until a baseline is seen or the AFR at WOT is known.

Those MAFs should all come with a notice that they require tuning to work properly, but then no one would buy them, which is probably how it should be.
Very true i learned my lesson put the stock back on cleaning it off tn but once I get the rest of my mods it's going back on and getting a tune sorry don't want to change the thread anyone tried the slp heads the CLAIM like 48hp and 56tq or around there my car is stock height so not too worried about the clearance.

More factory freaks for 02s? Hmmm....I like the sound of that! Haven't dynoed yet, but can't wait to see if I got one of 'em

No problem. They're very expensive, and have horrible gorund clearance. Just giving you something to compare when researching for lt's.
