Preston, I got so pissed trying to remove my 'modualr' LM that I ended up just cutting the piss out of it just to get it off the car. my y-pipe is still seized to my headers, so now i have the ass-half/tips of my LM off the car and the resonator on the car just after the y-pipe...
talk about a PITA in wanting to swap it out for my true duals. i f'-n destroyed the system to get it off...

Even though it sounds bad, I am sure an exhaust shop can fix it back. Have you tried using a rubber mallet to get the y-pipe off the headers with?

oh no, it's done for, it's in about 6 pieces and the tips are scraped to hell. i got so pissed i said screw it. i have tried everyhting but heating the damn y-pipe to get it off... Originally Posted by Y2KPewterSS

oh well. if i dont like the sweet thunders, i will just buy another SLP LM resonator and install them in their place instead...
