    My buddy with a 355 in his 94 LT1 Camaro has cutouts on his Flowmaster car and he picks up over 20rwhp also when he opens them up on the dyno.

    Flowmaster is a great sounding system just not the best flowing.

    O.k. - I gotcha now. Since you put it that way it does make a lot more sense. I've got a '93 with full bolt-ons, Kooks LT's and a Dyno Tune 100-shot, and when I open the cut-out it seems light years more than the full exhaust -much, much stronger. I never dyno'd the car with the cap on. Open exhaust is going to give you more hp than any muffler anyway, but on another car I had a Spintech and the difference in power from the cap on to the cap off wasn't nearly as much, so maybe your right. But i've got a QTEP electric unit so it's all good
