    hose that pcv valve goes in

    I replaced the pcv but it still throws the code.......the hose stays collapased when engine is running........should it ?

    no. hose is probably soft and should be replaced.

    well the setup seems to be working. Im just wondering if the pcv hose I cut was designed to be that hard. The one i installed is soft like the others. Just wondering if the gas vapors that go through it will eat away at the hose?
