Hooker exhaust is going on me

There is a little noise coming from inside the muffler. Not too loud but it will probably get annoying. I am looking for a cheap muffler. Borla or lm are the only two I could find.. Cant really decide.

What kind of noise? A loose baffle that rattles?

Sounds like something came loose in the muffler and yes it rattlers but only when the rpms are a bit over idle.

I had a baffle go bad in my previous muffler, so that's when I bought my Hooker. It's a bit too quiet compared to the other one, but no baffle rattle. It would happen mostly at idle as well.

Im hopeing it will go away but i doubt it lol. ya its only loud when you rev it up

Well, I don't really know of any cheap mufflers, so good luck. I did think my Hooker would've been louder than it is, tho, considering my Hooker LT's and ORY. I might have to change to some duals in the next couple years. Wife won't let me change the exhaust again so soon, since the Hooker muffler is less than 9 months old.

I think im going to leave it for now and see what happens. If it goes ill probably look into gmmg. SLP LM1 is pretty cheap but I dont think I can have it that loud with LTs and tps y.

Ha ha, I knew it was still you.

I think you're right tho, the LM would be too obnoxious with LTs.

As far as the baffle rattle, it'll probably stay about the same, that's been my experience. Annoying rattle, but usually nothing else happens.
