Won't hurt the car any, and yeah prolly like 3 HP and .3 better MPG. Will turn on the Service Engine light, as the post-cat O2 will know what you did...

Yepp like said above, i wouldnt destroy your stock cats, there worth a decent piece of change, and you can get someone to weld in some new pipes or pick up some lt's and ory...

I guess the best thing is to get an ORY pipe for the manifolds, if you don't plan on a header install soon. I don't know where to get one, but if you do some research I know they are made. That way you can save your convertors for the future or sell them like posted above. Hey, with the $$$ you get from the sail, you could put that towards some headers or something else.

    Sadly now demodded :(

Theoretically and techinically removing the catylic converters is illegal.

That disclaimer out of the way, I have no cats on my car. I saved them (as I have all the stock parts) just in case I decide to go back to stock or the man hassles me about it.

Insofar as codes are concerned, you can run O2 sims for the rear or have them tuned out (which is what I did).

BTW, cars were made for quite a few years with out cats. Deleting them only removes the pollution control fighting devices that have been govt mandated since the mid-70's.

i put some hollowed cats on my car, not mine, they made the car significantly louder, although i have not had it dyno'd to compare i would expect a 6-8rwhp increase.
