High idle

I just got my throttle body back from being ported and now the cars idles over 1000 rpms. When I give it gas it will also take a couple of seconds for it to come back to idling speed. Any ideas of what could be causing it?

Where did you have it ported? Are there any leaks around the Tb.

I had it done at Neweraperformance. The quality looks real good so I don't think its the TB. How would i tell if it is leaking, I put my hand up to the sides and i didn't feel any air leaking in.

Sounds like the blade is sticking open to me.

I have a few extra TBs and tried porting one myself. I got too far down into the blade area and the blade sticks open on it, causing the exact same problem you described.
