Angry HELP! Another Day a New Problem!!!

K so after I just dropped a but load of money getting my clutch fixed last week...

Looks like this week I get to replace a radiator

I have a crack on the passenger side plastic area of the radiator... so it's toast... It's leaking fluid like crazy...

I'm moving to Phoenix in about 3 weeks so the cooling system on the car needs to be top notch... I DON'T want another "stock" replacement or one like it with the plastic cheap sides as the problem will just arise again in the future...

    what do you guys suggest?

    I'm thinking this one...

good pick on the radiator but you should have picked up the 160 thermo from slp..also any thermo lower then stock wont do shit untill you tune the pcm to recognize it. any handheld will do that for you.

Ummm...wtf? I had Dex in my WS6 when we changed the water pump out at 77K miles and the radiator was SPOTLESS inside with NO scale or anything in it. Stuff did damn well. Block passages looked new also.

I WOULD SEND THAT 160 BACK AND BUY A 180!!! That 160 will NOT work good for you here in the valleY!!
If you do a search we have debated this many times already.
The problem your going to run into here in PHX is that next month when it's 110 everyday you thermostat will NEVER shut which means your coolant is constantly circulating which means it NEVER stop in the radiator to get cooled off. It must be held in the radiator for a min or so so it can cool it before it opens up sgain to let in fresh hot coolant from the motor.
    Hope that quick description helps.
Get a hold of me once you get out here if you need anything.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
