Headers Overly loud?
I have an SLP borlamouth cat back system on now that sounds good. I really want to get LT headers and Y but I really dont want to draw to much attention from the sound.
My frist question is: Is it going to get MUCH louder with headers and a Y pipe?
If I get a Y pipe with magnaflow high flo cats, will it keep the sound down much? or should I not bother
Also is there any other way for me to minimize the cabin drone?
Please Help!

hehehe, click on the links in my SIG, that should really help give you an idea...
listen to this one first, it's the SLP LM with manifolds and stock catted y-pipe...

i have had no issues at all. i just take off slow if they are around. hell i was in a car show last weekend put on by the local PD and one of the dectives insisted i start up my car and clear it out for him, so i did, and nothing happened...

it's all about being smart and choosing when to get on it. my car used to be my DD will full exhaust until i bought my Exploder...lol
for me LT's/ORY and the SLO LM was exactly the sound i was looking for, but it's not for everyone...
look at it this way. go ahead and buy the LT's/y-pipe and install it with the LM. if you dont like it, oull it off and sell it and get some money back that you can then put towards another cat-back. i suggest trying it out before getting rid of it, there's always time to do that...

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro Z28
I'm with SSwt00SS. I have the same setup you describe and it is loud. I daily drive mine. At idle and cruising is not bad, specially with windows up. With the T-Tops off and windows down forget about listening to the radio or you passenger for the most part. I may go with a magnaflow setup in the near future but haven't decided. No problems with the law for loudness (speeding is another story )
