you cant get the Hookers in a "race" version (with out AIR and EGR tubes) but you can in the Kooks.
I have Kooks 1 7/8 race headers and I love them

american racing headers FTW.....has a slightly better merge collector than kooks. People that used to work for kooks branched off and started American racing headers. From what i hear, kooks customer service is horrible.

Kooks are the best you can buy. Hooker makes stainless versions I believe too which should be fine.

ARH is a group of guys that branched off of kooks. FACT
ARH came out with a new design merge collector. FACT
ARH came out with a new design ORY. FACT
ARH has a better fitment. FACT
ARH has better customer service than kooks. FACT
So please explain why kooks is better than ARH, or is it because some of your friends have 9 second cars with kooks.

Well I have Never had any issue with Kooks customer service. I have dealt with them for over 10 years. Not sure what you have heard. . . . . . .
What they told some idiot the wrong tube size to run after he exaggerated his motor. . . . . . . ?
Just curious as to what "customer service is horrible" means or some real world experience. Because in the 10 years I have dealt with them I have only had 2 headers I have ever sent back and that was due to pussy's behind the wheel after a big wheel stand and they got scared and lifted and the cars came down crushing the headers. And both of those times I had good service and quick turn around.

I talked to both the guys from kooks and ARH, kooks customer service acts as if they dont need your service as if their superior. ARH is willing to go over everything with you as if your a human being. FACT
