Headers Ground Clearance?
I was wondering what can be expected in terms of ground clearance w/ long tube headers on a stock (height) F-body. I am looking into the painted pacesetters simply because they are the "best bang for your buck," but I need to know if they will drastically affect ground clearance. I use my car as a daily driver and that means I drive in the winter too, so I need a car that can sustain a drive all year round w/o clearance problems. If anyone has any ideas on what I should expect, or what companies are better/worse for clearance please let me know.

As long as they aren't SLP headers, you will be fine.
I scraped my SLP headers when I was stock height.
I have since dropped my car 1.5" and have NOT scraped my Kooks.
SLP's are the only ones with clearance issues.2008 Trailblazer SS

I dont know about pace setters but my grotys tuck up real nice. My y pipe on the other hand that thing is about 2" off the ground. I really have to watch where im going with it. Its already hit off of speed bumps. I need to do something to get it up a little higher.

my kooks tuck up nicely and they are stainless steel. they are more expensive, but if you are using it as a DD it might be something to consider. My TA is lowered and my subframes hang lower than the LTs.

i have pacesetter LT and a pace setter ORY and i have no ground clearnce issues i didn't have before.....but if you are going to drive the car in the winter you may want to consider the ceramic coat....the painted ones will rust.....
