Headers and convertor question
Hey all, I have a 99 30th anniversary T/A convertible. I want to put headers on it but have some concerns on all this info I see as far as bottoming out and y-pipe banging etc. Anybody out there got headers on there convertible? My understanding is the convertible is difficult to get the y-pipe on correctly. If you all have some recommendations on what would work correctly please help me out. I contacted QTP and they said I would have to alter there y-pipe for the convertible. Also the shop I take my car to put an 8" 2800 stall convertor in it, I love it but people have told me I should have had a 10" convertor put in. What is the major difference on these convertors? Any help from you all would be appreciated. Basically I do not want to put any header on that is going to cause me fit and or banging problems, just want a real good professional fit , finish and functionality.
Thanks, Andylappin@aol.com

I've got shorties on my vert. Not as much gain as Long tubes but no issues with fit and finish either. Sorry, don't know much about converters. I have an M6. My guess is that a 10 in. converter is stronger.
